AIRBNB-Melbourne
7m ceiling 1888 Heritage warehouse loft Middle CBD
About this space
A rare 1888 heritage historically protected warehouse featured on the news.
Completely renovated in 2019 and converted into a New York style loft with 7 metre ceilings right in the middle of Melbourne.
Situated right in the heart of Melbourne next to the famed Hardware Lane, full of cafes, restaurants and bars, not to mention just steps away from Bourke Street Mall and Melbourne Central station, I doubt you can find a better location anywhere.
The space
Converted warehouses are extremely rare in the CBD (one of two in the area that is residential) compared to the thousands of apartments. This one has a 7m ceiling that makes the standard 2.4m feel claustrophobic. Renovated and furnished in 2019, you'll be one of the first ones to use this space.
This warehouse is exactly in the middle of the busiest part of the CBD, everything is within walking distance or even quicker via the free trams.

The sofa bed is usually not set up for two guests and under. Please let me know if you would need it set up as it reduces the size of the dining area!

Getting around
Well within walking distance to three of Melbourne's largest train stations: Flinder's, Melbourne Central and Southern Cross, you'll have no trouble getting around, especially when you're in the Free Tram Zone, trams arrive every few minutes.
The Melbourne airport is only one bus ride away using Southern Cross' SkyBus service.
Parking wise there is paid secured parking just a minute walk away, although I suggest booking first to get a cheaper cost.
You'll find plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops just right next door with all of these options: Hardware Lane, Bourke Street Mall, Emporium, QV and Melbourne Central. Why not try some of the best coffee in the world?
If you're a fan of the theatre, it is also within walking distance. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is currently showing.
